[22:02] <Storyteller> there is a sudden thump from inside.. "Sorry!" comes the muffled voice and then it's relatively quiet again.

[22:03] <Storyteller> apparently a drawer fell out of her dresser. She looks up at you embarrassed. "You're still here?"

[22:04] * Vanal nods to her and zips downtairs

[22:09] <Vanal> "Tala, with all due respect, yes, I know what she is...but frankly, she's yet to commit any real crimes, and if I have to kiss up to one anathema to get leads on other, more dangerous ones, then yes, I will !"

[22:22] <Storyteller> you pass through the halls of the manor and find your way to the throne room... the guard stops you and asks for your names before letting you in.

[22:34] <Storyteller> you are right in front of the doors to his room.

[22:36] <Storyteller> He blinks, looking straight at you through the crowd... and Tala walks up inconspicously behind you.

[22:36] * Vanal walks over to bentharr, somehow managed to radiate good cheer and non=agressiveness
[22:38] <Storyteller> Bentharr stretches and stands up straight, putting his hands on his hips and smiling uneasily as you approach. He does not touch his sword, but it is close to hand... he moves across the wall to as if merely stretching his legs, but tactically, you can see that he is trying to make sure he isn't cornered in.

[22:40] * Tabius drops a glance at the Prefect to see what he has noticed as of yet.
