[21:30] * Nika flexes his fingers preparing to cast a spell if neccesary [21:30] Indeed, that is how it appears to be at first.. but then, upon closer inspection, you see that the walls and the floor are beginning to glow with the superimposed image of that ring... it takes a moment to see that the glowing ring is not being emitted from the man, but from some kind of ancient device long hidden inside the walls of the imperial manse! Many guards, mostly weilding ceremonial armor and arms, rush in to stand in his way... but the sigil that surrounds him merely shoves them aside, like a bow cutting through waves. [21:38] * Vanal sits on his chair, fuming in impotent rage [21:39] "Who the fuck is he, who the fuck is his master, who the fuck is the trheat, what the fuck is going on ?!" [21:39] "Same as usual. [21:41] * Vanal gives the politican a glare of death [21:42] Amazingly, the scene turns back to normal amazingly quickly, after a guard has been posted to chase after the messenger, and kill him if at all possible. [21:43] * Cicada slips out in the confusion and flies like a gust of wind between the crowds after the man, never taking her eyes from him, but avoiding his senses and the groups of soldiers stalking him ineffectively. [21:44] * Jynaru returns to resting his eyes. Far more pleasant images with them shut.
