[21:32] the strange, bookish-person goes over to juniper and talks to her for a few minutes, they keep checking the time. [21:33] * Romulus uses his charms to silently get onto the boat and hid between some provisions. [21:34] Finally, the captain [Shel Stormwind] gives the order for the assigned personell to get on the skiff. [21:34] dex + stealth? [21:47] The flying skiff is heading northwest, skimming along the surface of the water. [21:47] * Romulus looks embarassed and says nothing staying out of the way [21:48] They don't seem to notice, though a few of your companions look at you oddly. [21:48] The strange, bookish man, however, is watching you intently when you blink awake. [21:49] * Romulus keeps his head down and apoligizes gruffly. [21:49] "How are you feeling?" he asks. [21:50] "Fine sir. Bad dreams is all. I'll be fine." [21:50] He nods quickly, then points at the side. [21:50] "Keep an eye out. you know what we're looking for." [21:52] * Romulus nods and then as he goes to the side he stops and looks back at him, "Wait what is it? I can't remember anymore." He looks a little paniced. "I can't remember. What's wrong with my head?" [21:53] Juniper turns around and looks back. [21:53] she looks at you carefully... and you think.. she's even worried. [21:53] * Romulus holds his head in his hand and rocks to himself feeling worried. [21:54] "Sit down, Sargent." [21:55] (Was sitting down. Indian style rocking. [21:55] "Yes maam." [21:55] She nods, satisfied, and turns back to looking over the side. [21:56] * Romulus seems comforted by the voice and reacts with a soldiers movement. After a moment he goes back to the side and watches again. [21:56] The guard next to you offers you a drink from the canteen, watching the endless miles of waterlogged water go past. [21:57] "Going to be a pain tracking them down in a wilderness like this." [21:57] * Romulus nods and drinks and whispers to him silently, "I feel useless now. can you tell me what we're looking real quick. Fel better if I knew that much." [21:57] He shrugs. [21:57] * Romulus says as he looks down there. [21:58] "At this point, anybody. You're sure you're ok?" [21:58] * Romulus shrugs, "Not sure. I'll be better once we're back at the ship. Sorry for that." [21:58] * Romulus hands it back and goes back to watching for anybody [21:59] He nods silently, looking at you oddly, before going back to the ground around you. [22:04] roll per + awe [22:05] miles upon miles of nearly identical wetland trees roll by. Eventually, you come onto harder ground, where you could actually land. But the skiff keeps going, everyone still watching. [22:06] "This is going to take forever" complains one of the guards from behind you. [22:10] "That's odd," says the soldier on the end. [22:10] "What is it?" asks juniper. [22:10] "That cloud.. .it's following us." [22:12] * Romulus looks at it. [22:12] The sled comes to a stop, and everyone looks up to see a cloud quickly approaching overhead, which suddenly veers upwards [22:13] "Huh?" [22:13] "Everyone ready," Mnemon orders, drawing a thin, rapier-like sword from her side. [22:14] * Romulus draws his own sword as well. [22:16] it turns and banks to the west, and approaches from there. [22:17] * Romulus watches [22:18] The men seem worried, but hold their position, everyone watching the ground around them. [22:18] * Romulus more or less does the same [22:19] per + awe! [22:20] the cloud has landed... whatever it is... [22:20] somebody is approaching! [22:20] from the direction of the cloud.
