Was it a cloud? [21:32] it's gone now, you can't see anything. Whatever it was, you don't know, but puuhda is looking towards the bow of the ship [21:34] the wind gusts, and the ship rocks back and forth [21:35] * Cicada looks toward the bow as well. [21:38] [Is there a mast further ahead?] [21:38] there is only one mast [21:38] * Cicada turns to Puuhda. "What is it? Do you sense something?" [21:38] it towers over the ship [21:38] "Puuuuu!" [friend!] [21:39] "Friend? Where?" [21:39] "Puh!" [on the prow!] [21:40] * Cicada tries to squint towards the prow again. But gives up and leaps to the deck, landing on her knees she runs towards the prow, slowing down as she approaches. [21:42] * Cicada does not feel particularily sorry for them, but tries to avoid attention. [21:43] [Is my 'shadow' there? Or did I lose him by jumping from the mast?] [21:43] You creep forwards the prow of the ship, the immidate view of which is obscured by blocks.. but as you draw nearer, you distinctly see a puff of white fly up, and then down in a parabolic arc behind the crates. Puuhda is hanging onto your shoulder, looking over with just the tip of my eyes [21:43] Cicada, your shadow seems to be one of the ones throwing up over the side of the ship [21:44] * Cicada moves closer, very carefully, and looks over the blocks. [21:47] cicada, as you look carefully over the block, you see a small puff of white fur, like some kind of animal, playing with a piece of rope, tying it together. it drops it, and then bounces over to a box, and grabbing something that looks like a knotted fishing line, it looks up at you. It's face wide, and you are shocked by it's simliarity to puuhda, it lets out a suprised "myee!" and leaps clear over you, out of sight into the sky above [21:47] "Hey, wait up!" [21:48] "Puuuuu!" puuhda says [21:50] the creature makes no attempt to slow down, and it quickly dissapears into the sky above.. [21:54] Puuhda nuzzles you and then licks at your hands to see if you touched any chocolate while he wasn't looking [21:55] * Cicada suppresses a laugh at Puuhda's behavior. Puuhda too lightens up. The dark thoughts Cicada has been having were literally painful to him. [21:56] "So, do you think we should go and tell my lord about this, Puuhda?" [21:57] "Puuuuuuuuuuuu" [I dunno] [21:58] * Cicada runs to Tabius's cabin. Stpooing in front of the door, suddenly afraid to knock, remembering her shame from the last time she saw Tabius. [21:58] * Cicada draws a deep breath, then knocks very lightly. [22:31] you work your way towards the tail end of the ship, until you come to a large platform. Inside is the captains quarters. You've never seen anyone enter or leave it. [22:32] you suspect it is the captains quarters [22:33] * Cicada walks past it appearing uninterested but actually studying it intently. The door and any windows. [22:34] there are two windows, on both sides, but they are all closed and they are all covered with curtains. The door is made of solid mahogany, and the handle looks to be solid brass. [22:36] * Cicada walks up on the platform, and while appearing to look out over the ocean tries to spot any windows on the sides or rear of the ship. [22:44] okay... you look down and see a huge window, but that is farther down. [22:44] there is a smaller one before that, and it is wide open. [22:45] The huge window is the window of the cell, I suppose. [22:45] * Cicada looks around. Is there anyone present? [22:46] you can't see from this angle. [22:47] white drapes are blowing outside from whatever room it is [22:47] [I meant on the rear platform] [22:47] not really. [22:47] There are a few sailors, but they aren't really paying attention [22:47] Puuhda looks out your blouse, down at the open window [22:48] * Cicada whispers to Puuhda. "Down there?" [22:49] Puuhda nods quickly [22:50] * Cicada leans on the railing just over the window. carefully untying her sash. [22:50] * Cicada then ties the sash to the railing in a knot that can be released with a correct pull. [22:52] * Cicada looks around again to make sure the sailors are not looking, then when she is sure she leaps over the side holding the sash, swinging around, and landing softly with her feet on the side of the ship next to the window. [22:53] You come to a stop at the window, and hear a soft giggling coming from within... it sounds feminine [22:54] you cannot see inside, apparently the room is filled with curtains [22:54] * Cicada listens closely. [22:55] the curtains are all white [22:57] * Cicada draws a quick breath, then jumps from the wall and into the room. Landing on her feet she pulls down the sash with the slow pull needed for that and looks around at the same time, crounched like a cat ready to leap. [22:58] You fly through the cutrains, the sash trailing behind you as they part in front of you, and you are greeted with the following scene [23:00] The floors are plain wood, but in the center it is covered with an simple woven rug, made from what seems to be cotton, very soft under your feet. [23:01] Hanging from the ceiling, without worry of fire, are four lanterns, one in every corner of the room, illuminating the curtains as the sunlight is not nearly enough. there is no smoke from the lanterns, nor is there anything but a sweet smell.... [23:02] in the center of the room, is a young white-skinned woman with flowing black hair, dressed in a simple, white gown, as she plays with a small puffball that looks almost exactly like puuhda... it lets out a squeek as it sees you, and she quickly twirls around, her mouth dropping open in a silent scream... [23:03] Two other woman, weilding long, steel swords and dulled plate armor come from ahead of you, which must be where the captain's door is, their appearance mimicing her own, but not being nearly as attractive as the woman in front of you (2 vs 3) [23:04] * Cicada is crounching, ready to pounce if the women makes overtly aggressive moves. The crouch also looks a little like a kneel and so she says a low and even; "Forgive my intrusion, I mean no harm." [23:06] They stop, their swords in front of them agreesively, watching you with cold, steel-grey eyes. [23:07] The woman in the middle of the floor's eyes turn from fear into amazement, eyeing the little creature peeking out of your blouse, as the one in her hands watches puuhda interestedly [23:07] "A friend of mine felt the presence of something in this room and so I thought to investigate for him." [23:08] "Puuhda!" [23:08] "Kimyee!" [23:08] "Puuhda!" [23:08] * Cicada points to Puuhda. "This is the friend I was speaking of." [23:08] "Kimyee!" [23:09] * Cicada waits, letting the two get through their respective introductions. [23:09] The two warrior-women do not relax, but the woman gives them a abrupt wave, and they slowly walk back into the shifting mass of curtains [23:11] * Cicada forces herself to relax tense muscles as well, making herself less aggressive in poisture. [23:11] "I see...." she says, slowly crushing Kimyee under her hand. Kimyee, for one, seems to not be annoyed, if he even doesn't likes it [23:15] * Cicada opens another button so that Puuhda can squirm out if he wants to. [23:15] Puuhda seems quite content to stay where he is. [23:15] though he squirms anyhow. [23:16] ("Stop that, Stinker! You are embarressing me!")
