[21:20] [Storyteller] (c) You find the streets less clogged, but discover that traveling near the inns is a sorry sight. Many farmers and business men alike sit quietly inside with their faces in pitchers of ale, and men outside lie drunk on the streets

[21:21] * Cicada tries not to think about what is going to happen to those people and speed on.

[21:37] [Storyteller] Cicada you notice that one of the men walking with Vanal is Jynaru. He smiles at you.
[21:37] [Cicada] "My lord would like to acquire some armor for his protection. With sir Vanal's permission I would like to take some out of the legion storages."
[21:37] * Cicada looks pointedly away from Jynaru.

[21:34] * Maris walks up to the Gate and asks to the guards, "I'm looking for Cathak Vanal. Where can I find him?"
[21:37] * Maris sits on his horse and waits for an answer.

[21:37] [Storyteller] (tei) the servant bows her head "If you will wait one moment, I will go and check for you."
[21:38] [Tei] "certainly"

[21:38] * Vanal blinks "He...wants armor...from me ?"

[21:39] [Storyteller] [Maris] One of the guards, apparently a dragon blooded of the aspect of water, directs you to western gate, "where he should be overseeing the preparations"

[21:40] * Maris turns and heads to the west gate at as fast a pace as he can manage as he curses under his breath at this damn city.

[21:48] [Storyteller] Tala: You arrive at the east gate. The same DB officer that spoke to Maris asks some of the men if they have seen a woman by your description, and one of them nods and says "She was looking for Lord Vanal earlier, I told her to go to the west gate."

[22:01] [Storyteller] Tala, you leap up and grab the side of the rooftop. You carefully pull yourself up onto the level roof; save for a few boxes and a chimney with a staircase leading down, you see nothing on any of the closer buildings
[22:02] * Tala looks to see if it would be possible to make it to the next building, perhaps in the direction the shuffling was moving

[22:05] [Vanal] "I still have a few matters to attend to here, unfortunately. Once completed, I'd be perfectly willing to,"
[22:06] * Maris nods, "Well be at the East Gate in 45 minutes if you'd like to come. After that we're headed towards the mines if you miss us.

[22:06] [Storyteller] Tala, you lower yourself into the alley. It looks the same as the alleyway you were just in, only it isn't. The walls on the next building are the same hue, but you suspect it may be slightly taller.

[22:06] [Tei] "I'm to ask if you'll accompany us to the mines, I am to meet Maris at the east gate. But we should find cicada first."

[22:07] [Storyteller] Tala, you hear the thumping of horses and conversation from the direction you were just coming from

[22:07] * Vanal nods "Thanks. I'll try and be there. I've only got one more post to inspect, plus a quick stop at the barracks."

Carefully walking past them as they hold their ale, you make your way past them. A few minutes later you come to the barracks to see Lord Vanal and others outside
